Dad,
I remember when you used to take Holly and I to work with you on Saturdays. We would play "office" while you were working in your office. I always loved going to work with you. Thank you for being a wonderful father, and a great man.
Love always,
Ghost
I remember watching baseball games with Dad. We would rush home from church (or anywhere) to make sure we were in time for first pitch. If we were on vacation, he would stop somewhere for the night just to watch the game (especially during the playoffs). He loved sports and he passed that on to me. Love you Dad! Go Cards!
The Midwest has been flooded this year and I can't help but think about 1993 when we had a severe flood. My Dad took me fishing up in Oakville, IA. Actually where we were fishing would have been the road. We caught 7 striped bass that day. I loved times like that with my Dad. I love you Dad and there isn't a day that passes that I don't think of you.
Love always and forever,
Ghost
Yesterday at our girls weekend away we were playing a board game. I couldn't help but to think of you Dad. I remember playing board games with you as a kid. You taught me cribbage, ukere, and Aggrevation. You had such a competitive spirit and you passed that on to me. For better or worse =) I loved playing games with you. You were the best Dad! I love you and miss you so much. I can't wait to see you again in glory!
I remember many nights that I would wake up from a bad dream or just couldn't sleep in general. I would always sneak into my parents room and snuggle up to my Dad and put my head on his arm. I woud be asleep within minutes. There is something about the nook of his arm that seemed to hold such comfort. Dad, you are missed. I love you and will forever.
Until we are reunited in glory,
Ghost
